Roooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrr! Now that we’ve got your attention, let us tell you about this grrrrrreally exciting deal. Friday Night is party night – your chance to bring out the animal in you! Join the party animals at ZSL London Zoo for the wildest nights of the year – Zoo Lates! Every Friday in August, ZSL London Zoo will be opening its doors after hours, so that visitors can enjoy an incredible night out in the company of the most fascinating creatures on Earth. You get all this for £8 instead of the usual price of £19.80. Roooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrr!

This perfect summer night out for friends, families and work colleagues gives you the chance to discover over 750 species whilst sipping on a Pimms or a mojito; indulge in Laurent Perrier at the champagne and seafood bar; strut your stuff (like a funky gibbon) at the silent disco; and grab a bite from the BBQ (before the lions take a bite out of you!). The party rages on until 10pm, at which point the penguins have to go to bed so they can get up early the next morning to clean up the carnage (you didn’t think it was all eating fish and falling over did you?)

Come and meet the new family of Asian lions: Abi, Rubi, Maximus and Lucifer (really). Or the first male camel at London Zoo for twenty years – newborn Kaboobie (really). Our personal favourite which illicited screams of cuteness from the office were the pictures of new born Paddy (that’s better), a baby white-naped mangabey, which is one of the most endangered species of primate in the world. If you like your animals a little more cold-blooded, pay a visit to Dirk, the 70 year old Galapagos tortoise, who has earned himself the nickname “Dirty Dirk” because he frequently, erm, “seduces” his tortoise lady-friends, Dolly (16) and Dolores (14). Not so cold-blooded after all!
